6. Connect the telephone cable. Plug one end of the telephone cable into the RJ-11

jack marked LINE and the other end into a phone line outlet. You may now

connect your telephone set to the jack marked PHONE (optional)

7. Replace the cover to the computer.

8. Turn on the power to the computer and insert the Modem Installation CD as

Windows is starting up.
